Louise Crawley Photography

Welcome to the Louise Crawley Photography Website

I am Louise Crawley. A small-town kiwi girl with a fascination with nature, photography, adventure and travel.

I grew up in the beautiful country of New Zealand, spending most of my weekends camping or at the beach. Its hard not to have such an appreciation for nature when you are surrounded by its amazing beauty growing up.

My love for photography began at quite an early age; I took photos of anything and everything that interested me. In 2010 I decided to purchase my first dSLR, a Nikon D90 with kit lenses, to try my hand at some real photography. As my photography skills have improved, so has my equipment. Although I still shoot with my D90, I have moved on from my kit lenses to much more expensive glass.

I began scuba diving in 2012 and was overwhelmed with the beauty beneath the oceans. It’s a completely different world that so few get to experience. It didn’t take me long before I had purchased a second camera, a Canon G15, with housing and stobes to take my photography into this new realm.

Although I have dabbled in other forms of photography, mainly sports and events, my real passion is capturing nature in all its forms.

I now live in Perth, Australia with my partner (another adventure and photography enthusiast) and spend a lot of time camping, diving and travelling the world. Living the life!
